About Me
Jamie is a 40 year old native Virginian that keeps finding his way to Central Kentucky. Jamie currently lives in Winchester with his wife and baby girl. EXPERIENCE
Jamie has been in the field for 15 years as a teacher, coach and personal trainer. He began coaching at Blacksburg Middle School in Virginia, where many of his students saw immediate success and stayed in the sport to see long term success as high schoolers and collegians. Since that time, Jamie has gained NCAA Division I experience and coached many conference champions and school record holders at the collegiate level. Jamie has also coached a Homeschool National Champion and a couple of Boston qualifiers. With ample experience in nearly every event, Jamie does not shy away from the technical events.
Jamie has also coached age group and open world, national, state record holders across 6 different federations in powerlifting.
As a personal trainer Jamie has worked with a huge variety of clientele, all with differing needs. He has worked with children and seniors over 80 years old. No matter what your goal, whether you're a bride to be wanting to tone up for the big day, a couch potato wanting to lose major poundage, a bro wanting to add some major poundage, or needing help recovering from an illness or injury, Jamie has you covered.
As a teacher, Jamie has worked with children, adults and college students in a wide variety of courses related to Exercise and Sports Science. Many of the courses were centered around the idea of wellness. Wellness is a holistic approach to health and well-being that can be applicable to anyone. He has seen many of his students make meaningful, positive changes within a course.
