Monthly Feature for March 2016

Marshia Hawkins began working with me at the beginning of this year after her husban Ken bought her training sessions for Christmas. While many resolutions have been discarded by this time, Marshia's original goals have been met and she now has her sights set on bigger acheivements, as in better health.

Since beginning her workouts, she's dropped 4 inches from her waist and lost 5 pounds. She is stronger, more mobile, more flexible, and has more energy after a long day of teaching middle schoolers. She also has an easier time completing mundane everyday activities.

Marshia meets with me for accountability. In the past she's found many reasons to skip a workout or put off beginning a workout program. She's now on track and continues to come in once a week for the variety and expertise. During these sessions we work on general fitness, but focus on hip and low back mobility and strengthening the traps and rear delts. Marshia takes what she learns and completes workouts on her own and then supplements those with group fitness classes and recreational time with her husband Ken, who has gone through his own physical transformation in recent months. I'm very proud to have helped Marshia on her journey and look forward to watching her continue succeeding.
